Blush Beauty Bar was opened in 2017 when owners Rachel Parker and Angela Pellegrino saw a need for an upscale salon environment that would put the needs of the salon guest above all else and sought to elevate the entire salon experience. Their goal remains to bring together the most kind,highly skilled team of stylist at the beach and to work together to bring outstanding service to every guest we see and to continue to elevate and exceed every expectation of our clients.

Experienced hairstylist with 23+ yrs expertise, Redken color certified, Jz styles hair extensions certified, Pureology & bumble and bumble certified. Salon owner, Pureology Artist, specializes in precision hair cutting, custom balayage, and master Blonde specialist. Loves mentoring and inspiring stylists. Excited to bring exceptional experiences to Blush Guests!

I haven’t always wanted to be a hairstylist but I have always wanted to be an artist. After graduating from Coastal Carolina University with a bachelors in studio art, I spent the next 7 years working in fashion and home design but something was missing.. By nature I am intrigued with the complexities of the human spirit and how people choose to express themselves as individuals and I wanted to connect that into my work. It wasn’t until I learned about balayage that I considered being a hairstylist and everything changed. Hand painted highlights? Yesssssssss… I went back to school. Because of my background and passion for art and design I was able to excel quickly. I became obsessed with the process and finding new techniques to create this subtle, sun kissed, low-maintenance blonde. That pursuit, passion for education, and excitement for bringing fashion forward hair to Myrtle is how my style and approach has evolved over the years. I genuinely take so much pride in my work and prioritize constant education. I have expanded my work now to a more diverse clientele featuring blendy-sparkling brunettes, undone modern bobs, creamy blondes, textured beach waves, and bombshell long layers. You know that amazing feeling after having your hair done? Im basically addicted to giving that to you. I am so grateful for my clients and this little beach community that has supported me and help me grow so much.
Megen Adamczyk

As a New Jersey native, Megen recently moved to South Carolina with her 9 year old son Jaxon. She misses pizza and bagels from back home but has fallen in love with the warmer weather. Megen enjoys taking Jaxson to the beach, which is now only minutes away, to look for shark teeth and collect various shells. Megen is the ultimate single mom that made the move to create an abundant life for her tiny family. She lives her life in believing that growth can and does happen every single day. Immediately after graduating high-school, Megen pursued her passion and received her cosmetology license from Roman Academy of Beauty Culture in 2006. Megen has remained fully invested in continuing her education within the beauty industry and has been trained by many Redken artists from all over the world.. This resulted in her receiving a Redken design certification. Her leadership qualities have culminated in her becoming certified as a Unite Educator. She has taught many classes in the north east on her extensive product knowledge. This is barely a fraction of the continuing education and certifications Megen has earned. With a strong work ethic, Megen provides a service superior to none. She loves having the ability to enhance your beauty by matching your vision and creating the look that makes you feel extraordinary. She believes if it makes you feel good, then you should do it!

From rich dimensional brunettes to beautiful beach blondes, I’m down to color it all. When not at Salon, I can be found at Starbucks or my favorite gym.

Brook, a talented hairstylist with a fiery passion, restarted her career after a break Completed Blush's associate program with ease. Eager to learn, up-to-date with style trends, and loves incorporating fashion into hair. Her fun, energetic, and spunky attitude will keep you coming back.

Blaire graduated from Academy for Technology and Academics from the cosmetology program. She knew from the time she was 12 years old that she wanted to be a hairstylist. Blaire loves everything beauty related, with a focus on hair. She’s learned so much here at Blush to make every client feel special, and is now going behind the chair to make hair dreams come true! “I believe everyone deserves to feel beautiful and I’m thrilled to be a part of that!”

Maggie was born and raised in the small town of Aynor, just outside of Myrtle Beach. She has recently graduated from the cosmetology program at HGTC and will begin to assist Rachel! In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends, shopping, and doing all things self care. Maggie wants to focus her career on blonding, dimensional color, event makeup, and extensions. She has been very passionate about the beauty industry for a while and has had no doubt that this is the job for her! She is eagerly looking forward to her furthering her education and becoming more confident behind the chair for her future clients!

My name is Isabelle James and I am 20 years old. I am from Loris, SC. I have recently graduated from Horry Georgetown Technology College and received my cosmetology license. At Blush, I am going to be assisting Meg and Amy. Since I was younger, I always have had a passion for hair and makeup. I am beyond grateful that I have the opportunity to live out my dream! I love event hair and makeup, blonding, brunettes, and lived in looks. I am excited to start my career at Blush and can’t wait to see where my passion will take me!

What I love most about my job is having my clients leave feeling happy and beautiful. I am very passionate about what I do. My motto is "A good set of nails can always turn your mood around and put a smile on your face."
